With an official chip time of 2 hours 14 minutes and 25 seconds, I finished my first half marathon with energy to spare and a smile on my face.
It was very cold that morning, VERY cold. Nevertheless, the race went very well and I managed to keep my pace at or below 6 minutes and thirty seconds per kilometer.
With one kilometer to go, I upped my tempo and clocked my fastest split.
It was tremendous having my wife and our two kids there cheering me on at the finish line.
See you all soon.
